Sharp Laboratories of Europe are currently engaged in researching displays capable of interacting directly with their environment. Our unique CG-Silicon technology allows sensor circuits to be integrated directly onto the display glass substrate so that LCD image quality and performance may be maintained whatever the conditions: light or dark; hot or cold. And by investigating new paradigms in user-display interaction that our integrated sensor technology enables we aim to revolutionize the mobile multimedia experience.
We are also actively investigating non-display applications for large-area sensors. The unique benefits of CG-Silicon allow us to explore new possibilities for the next generation of consumer electronic products.
