Functionality for System on Panel
At Sharp Laboratories of Europe, we are aiming to add value to an LCD display. The unique CG-Silicon technology is being used to investigate the integration of audio circuits to drive LCD panel speaker and external speakers. The integration of the display and audio, to form a true monolithic AV system, on a single substrate will lead to cheaper and smaller products. As part of this medium-term System On Panel research activity we are also investigating novel architectures for analogue systems based on our CG-Silicon technology.
