The Design Centre is supporting the growth of the lighting and solar businesses in Europe – we intend to extend our development capabilities in lighting and solar to be on a par with our display and camera expertise.

LED Lighting

The majority of “energy-efficient” lighting available today is based on fluorescent tubes. Sharp’s LED technology can deliver even higher energy efficiency and offers new opportunities for lighting design and installation. We are now exploring these opportunities, as well as keeping abreast of the latest standards for light-engines, to ensure that we can deliver the leading lighting solutions to our new customers.
