Sharp Laboratories of Europe Limited is working within a competitive environment and therefore we aim to provide a competitive package of benefits for our staff. This includes the following:

Holiday

We provide 25 days holiday per annum.

Relocation

The company has a relocation policy to assist people moving into the Oxford area to join SLE.

Maternity Policy

We provide an enhanced maternity package which means that women on maternity leave will receive their normal pay for the first 18 weeks and then following this 8 weeks of SMP payments.

Paternity Leave

Fathers will also be eligible for 2 weeks paid paternity leave at full pay or 2 weeks paid paternity leave at SPP payments if employed for less than 12 months.

On-site facilities

Laboratories

We have very well equipped clean rooms, optical laboratories, chemistry laboratories, and electronics laboratories.

IT Facilities

All research staff have their own IT equipment and access to on-line search facilities.

Staff Restaurant

we have a subsidised staff restaurant which provides excellent food choices, from sandwiches and confectionery to main meals with a vegetarian option.

Library

We have a well stocked library which contains journals and text books on various subjects relevant to the R&D being carried out on site. This is regularly maintained and kept up-to-date.

Changing/shower rooms

We have changing rooms on site.

Tennis court

We have our own all weather tennis court for use at lunch time, evenings and over weekends by members of staff.

Sports Facilities

Every member of staff at Sharp Laboratories of Europe has free membership of all the Oxford City Council run sports and leisure centres. There are approximately 6 of these centres in different areas of Oxford, and you can use their facilities in any public sessions. This includes, for example, gym, fitness facilities, badminton, squash, aerobics, swimming etc...
