Sharp Laboratories of Europe carries out research and development in consumer electronics for Sharp Corporation. We create new technology in photovoltaic energy generation and storage, LED lighting, liquid crystal displays, semi-conductor lasers, mobile learning software and consumer bio-science. We work with Sharp customers to help them to design our latest components into their products.
Our technology is used in Sharp products all around the world. In 1992 we were the first company to set up on the Oxford Science Park and we are now part of a global network of Sharp Laboratories. We have opened branches in Munich and in Helsinki.
